A Ko-Fi Experience

Hey-Hey Toon-a-thons!

I'd just like to say that Ko-fi is great (like real coffee). Ko-Fi has been a wonderful alternative to support a fellow artist. It’s quick, easy, and don’t need an account to drop a dollar.

In addition to my writing endeavors, I've started to use Ko-Fi as a platform to host my artwork. Not only is it another gallery to fill, but its also acts as an opportunity to bring interest to my series and those who enjoy my writings to support me directly.

I really like how the website has updated throughout my time on the site. The ability to not only now sell commissions, but I'm also able to create a shop. Now I have an excuse to create little Digital PDFs of my work including mini-stories and full fledged books!

The best part is the ability to change the choice from coffee to something more appealing... like pizza! I really like Pizza, though I'm more partial to dumplings (the Jamaican kind!) Setting the price to any default way you want is great because while 3 dollars wasn't much, I had a lot of supporters who had even less than 2 dollars. The money I've earned so far have been from commissions as Ko-Fi was an easy platform to transfer payments, but setting my current price makes it easy for those who just want to drop a dollar.

I write some strange and silly works and post them to a variety of platforms. While they're not ideal for most audiences, the people who stick around to read AND support the next installments of my work, even through Ko-Fi really gets me going. I feel a newfound appreciation for my audience, and I hope to continue this in the future. Hey! If you’re reading this, even without the money, I still respect and appreciate you as my audience. From the bottom of my goofy heart, thanks.

Now, let’s go sit down and make some funny cartoons.

Sincerely,

Mr. Toontastic
