A Little Tip when creating a commission sheet.

Creating a commission sheet is a quite a task, especially if you are unsure of how to go about crafting a list. Don't worry. You're in luck! Uncle Toon here is going to give you a short breath of tips that will help to make you a commission maker in no time (in a relative sense).

  • Make sure to have a good list of everything you want pricing-wise.

  • What you can do (sketches, linework, colored, etc.), rules on what kind of art you will not do.

  • Provide a place where you can have your commissioners contact you (like discord or your email)..

  • Deadlines should always depend on what your clients want. - If its a short sketch, it shouldn't take longer than a few days. If its more detailed, it should be take at least a week or two.

  • Prices should be fair and (if you want) depend your art as well. Don't lowball/undersell yourself, but don't make extravagant prices that'll scare people away.

Follow these rules, as well as looking towards commission lists from other professionals, or friends, and you'll have a great list! To getting clients, you better make sure you talk, talk, talk! Put yourself out there, even if you are limited in terms of social media.
